Mission
At Casa Búho we walk alongside children, teenagers, and families in Machalilla, helping them grow through reading, art, and loving learning experiences. We create a safe community space where books open conversations, strengthen bonds, awaken imagination, and nurture development from the first months of life through adolescence. We work with tenderness, consistency, and creativity, planting reading habits and building real opportunities for a fuller life.
Vision
We dream of a Machalilla where every child grows surrounded by stories, love, and the freedom to imagine their future. We want to be a leading community library in Ecuador through our sustained work with children, teenagers, and families, demonstrating that reading and art can transform communities, strengthen autonomy, and create paths of well-being, identity, and long-term hope.
