Who we are
Casa Búho is a small, community-driven library and creative hub for children and teenagers in Machalilla, a rural coastal town in Manabí, Ecuador. We combine books, storytelling, arts, and play to help young people grow confidence, imagination, and a sense of community.
What we do
Reading clubs & storytelling
Weekly sessions where children read aloud, explore stories, and build reading habits in a joyful, supportive setting.
Arts & theatre projects
Hands-on art, music, and theatre activities that encourage creativity, collaboration, and self-expression.
Safe space to learn
A welcoming place with caring mentors, where kids can study, experiment, and feel part of a community.
